It was the best kept secret in town. Or
was it?
Fans of Daniel O'Donnell and Mary Duff
learned of their Pittsburgh concert
without any public announcements through
the media.
Linked to the Irish vocalists' public
relations agency, their fan clubs or the
Internet, followers filled the Benedum
Tuesday evening, May 23.
O'Donnell pleased his audience with a
wide array of songs. He included country
music, lots of Irish ballads, songs of
faith and even rock and roll selections.
He answered requests for some popular
favorites like "Footsteps," "I Just Want
to Dance With You," "Danny Boy," and
"Roads of Kildare."
The audience responded with enthusiasm
when he came out in black leather
trousers and did an Elvis Presley
impersonation.
