we are playing every Elvis single that featured in the
American charts, we are basing it on Billboard�s Hot 100
chart which is the definitive chart for popular music in the
US, and what we propose doing is to play every single
that Elvis released that featured on this chart, now when I
tell you that Elvis had a record one hundred and twenty
eight songs that featured you will appreciate what a massive
undertaking this is, now to make it even more interesting we
are doing it in reverse order basing our chart on the
highest position that a particular recording reached, and
the amount of weeks it spent in the charts, In the
countdown we are going to feature 10 tracks every week
starting with number 115.

(66) Witchcraft
Recorded by Elvis in 1963 at RCAs Nashville Studios
Witchcraft peaked at number 32 in the charts staying there
for a total of 7 weeks.
(65) I�ve Lost You
Matthew�s Southern Comfort first recorded this song in 1970
on Decca Records, Elvis featured the song in his 1970 film
documentary Elvis-That�s The Way It is filmed in The
International Hotel, Las Vegas. Reached number 32, with a 9
week stay.
(64) A Mess Of Blues
Written for Elvis by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman. Elvis
recorded the song on March 21st 1960. The single
release had an 11 week stay also reaching the number 32 spot
on Billboards Hot 100 chart selling over a million copies.
(63) Anything That�s Part Of You
Don Robertson wrote Anything That�s Part Of You in 1961,
reaching the number 31 spot it had a 8 week stay in the
charts.
(JT-61) Moody Blues
Followed by the
Mark James number Moody Blue , recorded by Elvis in
Graceland his Memphis home in 1976. Although it only reached
number 31 in the pop charts, with a 13 week stay, it made
the number 1 spot in the C&W charts in the US.
(JT-61) She Thinks I Still Care
Written by Dickie`Lee and first recorded by George Jones who
topped the C&W charts in 1962, a year later it was also
recorded by Connie Francis and Anne Murray as an answer back
record called �He Thinks I Still Care� Elvis recorded the
song in February of 1976, the single reaching the number 31
spot also with a 13 week stay.
(60) My Baby Left Me
Arthur �Big
Boy� Crudup wrote and originally recorded the song in 1950.
My Baby Left Me was recorded by Elvis in 1956, I Want You I
Need You I Love You was on the B side, it only reached
number 31 in the pop charts with a 14 week stay, but hit the
number 1 spot in the country and western charts.
(59) King Of The Whole Wide World
King Of The Whole Wide World was taken from the soundtrack
of Kid Galahad, the song was sung over the opening credits
of the movie, although the song was never released as a
single the E.P. called Kid Galahad reached number 30 in the
singles charts in the US with a 7 week stay.
(JT-57) Don�t Ask Me Why
Elvis recorded Don�t Ask Me Why a Fred Wise and Ben Weisman
tune, at Radio Recorders on January 16th. 1958.
The single release peaked at number 28 in the charts
enjoying a 9 week stay. On the Rhythm and Blues chart it
made the number 2 spot.

US Male was originally recorded by singer songwriter Gerry
Reed in 1967 Reed later played lead guitar on Elvis� version
of the song recorded in 1968 when it reached the number 28
spot in the US also having a 9 week stay.
