It�s 1968 � the major musical event of the year is the first live TV special for Elvis Presley in what will come to be known as �The �68 Comeback Special�. Simon already has a host of starring West End musical roles to his name, including Jean Valjean and Marius in Les Miserables (Palace Theatre), Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty�s Theatre), and as a member of the original cast of Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) in which he created the role of Chris.
