Graceland welcomes a radio legend when BRUCE �COUSIN BRUCIE� MORROW visits Elvis Presley�s famous Memphis mansion and Graceland Plaza for a book signing and two LIVE Sirius radio broadcasts. Morrow will be make the trip to Graceland during a cross country book tour to promote his latest project, Doo Wop.
Cousin Brucie will delight visitors with a book signing at Graceland�s Good Rockin� gift shop from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 22nd, 2007. Cousin Brucie is not only an Elvis fan, but he�s also a Sirius 6 radio personality who will guest host a program on Sirius 13 Elvis Radio from noon to 2 p.m. CST followed by his regular show on Sirius 6 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. CST.
Cousin Brucie was born in Brooklyn and graduated from New York University. He has been one of the most famous names in radio and television broadcasting for almost half a century, and was one of the pioneer radio personalities behind doo wop and rock and roll.
Morrow was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1988, the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame in 1990, the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, and the New York State Hall of Fame in 2006. In 1994, Mayor Rudolph Guiliani named a portion of West 52nd Street �Cousin Brucie Way.� Morrow appeared in the film Dirty Dancing and wrote the bestselling book Cousin Brucie: My Life in Rock and Roll Radio.
